The Advanced Technology Development Center is a nationally recognized science and technology incubator that helps Georgia entrepreneurs launch and build successful companies. ATDC provides strategic business advice and connects its member companies to the people and resources they need to succeed.

More than 100 companies have emerged from ATDC, including publicly-traded firms such as MindSpring Enterprises - now part of EarthLink. Headquartered at the Georgia Institute of Technology, ATDC has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the nation's top non-profit incubators. ATDC was formed in 1980 to stimulate growth in Georgia's technology business base and now has locations in Atlanta, Columbus, Savannah and Warner Robins.
 
Institute for Development, Evaluation, Assistance and Solutions contributes to the sustainable economic development of poor and moderate-income persons by supporting microfinance institutions and other organizations that provide financial products and non-financial services. IDEAS provides training, technical assistance and information services to staff, boards, donors and other non-profit institutions.

IDEAS provides technical services and training in four main areas:

• Market research into what entrepreneurs need and want in terms of products and services

• Impact evaluation, client satisfaction assessment, and monitoring for microfinance institutions

• Institutional evaluation of microfinance and microenterprise development institutions

• Channeling socially responsible capital for microfinance institutions and fair trade
 

The Stanford Technology Ventures Program Educators Corner is a free online archive of entrepreneurship resources for teaching and learning. The mission of the project is to support and encourage faculty around the world who teach entrepreneurship to future scientists and engineers, as well as those in management and other disciplines. The site has been developed by a dynamic team of educators, entrepreneurs, engineers, and designers at the Stanford Technology Ventures Program.

The project has been financially supported by the Kauffman Foundation and Stanford University . Other collaborators in its creation include the Stanford Center for Professional Development and Stanford Video.

 

Technology Ventures is a Web site that provides instructors and students of high-technology entrepreneurship with learning resources complementing Technology Ventures: From Idea to Enterprise, a McGraw-Hill Higher Education textbook written by Richard C. Dorf and Thomas H. Byers. Containing a wide variety of recommended media, the site includes case studies, short video clips, articles, and PowerPoint slides all focused on the creation and management of technology ventures.
